Cristina Chiluiza, artistically known as Cris Chil, is a multiplatinum GRAMMY-nominated singer-songwriter and producer. The powerhouse creative of Ecuadorian descent renowned for her crossover success, made her mark with
her bilingual and multi-genre composition skills and has quickly become an award-winning, global pen— working with top artists such as Kali Uchis, J Balvin, Anitta, Sean Paul and Selena Gomez. She was positioned on the prestigious Billboard’s Top 10 Songwriters list in June 2021 and won a BMI Latin Award in 2022, making her the only female songwriter to receive the
recognition that year.
Much of her work narrates the women’s experiences in love, heartbreak, healing, intimacy, and attraction; while highlighting a sense of empowerment. Critically acclaimed for merging Latin and Anglo cultures, her extensive catalog includes top-charting tracks like “Telepatia” for Kali Uchis; a worldwide viral sensation that quickly dominated across all platforms— becoming the No.1 song on TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook in 2021. The Double-Platinum Spanglish record charted on Billboard’s Hot 100 and peaked at No.1 on Hot Latin Songs Chart as well as Latin Airplay and Rhythmic Airplay. Chil scored her first GRAMMY nomination for Kali Uchis Sin Miedo album, in which she participated as a composer on five songs: “No Eres Tu (Soy Yo),” “De Nadie,” “Aqui Yo Mando,” “Te Pongo Mal (Prendelo)”
featuring Jowell y Randy, and “Telepatia.” The album was nominated for “Best Musica Urbana Album” at the 64th GRAMMYS Awards.“Telepatia” also went on to secure a win for “Favorite Latin Song” at the 2021 American Music Awards.
